We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Services
All professional services are subject to the scope, specifications, timelines and pricing agreed between Coupintech and the client.
Depending on the project, this agreement may be confirmed through:
- A quotation;
- Proposal;
- Invoice;
- Service agreement;
- Written communication;
- Email confirmation;
- Project brief; or
- Other written agreement.
The agreed scope of work will determine what is included in the project.
Requests outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.
4. Quotations and Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are based on the information available to Coupintech at the time the quotation is prepared.
A quotation may change where:
- The client changes the project requirements;
- Additional functionality is requested;
- The scope of work increases;
- Third-party services or licences become necessary;
- Additional development or design work is required; or
- Information supplied by the client was incomplete or inaccurate.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, third-party costs such as hosting, domains, premium plugins, software licences, advertising spend, stock photography, API fees and other external services are not automatically included.
Prices may be displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
5. Payments
Payment terms will be communicated on the applicable quotation, invoice or checkout page.
Where a deposit or upfront payment is required, work may only commence once the required payment has been received.
For projects involving milestones, Coupintech may require payment before progressing to subsequent stages.
Failure to make payment when due may result in:
- Suspension of work;
- Suspension of website or hosting-related services;
- Delayed delivery;
- Cancellation of the project; or
- Recovery of outstanding amounts.
6. Project Timelines
Estimated delivery dates depend on the complexity of the project and the timely cooperation of the client.
Delays caused by the client may affect the agreed delivery date.
Examples include:
- Late submission of content;
- Late approval of designs;
- Delayed feedback;
- Missing login credentials;
- Delayed payment;
- Changes to project requirements; or
- Failure to provide required information.
Where a project is delayed substantially because of the client, Coupintech may revise the delivery schedule.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information required to perform the service.
The client must ensure that all content supplied to Coupintech may legally be used.
This includes:
- Logos;
- Images;
- Videos;
- Text;
- Product information;
- Business information;
- Personal information;
- Copyrighted materials; and
- Third-party intellectual property.
The client remains responsible for the legality and accuracy of materials supplied by them.
8. Website Development
For website projects, the final website will generally be developed according to the agreed project scope.
Unless expressly included, the following may incur additional charges:
- Additional pages;
- Additional revisions;
- Custom functionality;
- E-commerce functionality;
- Payment gateway integration;
- API integrations;
- Third-party software;
- Hosting;
- Domain registration;
- Premium themes or plugins;
- Ongoing maintenance;
- Content creation; and
- Copywriting.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving the website before launch.
9. Revisions
The number of revisions included in a project will depend on the quotation or package purchased.
A revision means a reasonable modification to previously agreed work.
A completely new concept, redesign or substantial change to the original brief may be treated as additional work.
10. Digital Products
Digital products may include:
- Templates;
- Graphics;
- Documents;
- Guides;
- Fonts;
- Design resources;
- Website resources;
- Software;
- Plugins;
- Themes;
- Digital downloads; and
- Other downloadable materials.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, digital products are supplied electronically and may be made available through a download link, customer account or email.
Because digital products can generally be accessed or downloaded immediately, refunds may be restricted where permitted by applicable law and depending on whether the product has already been accessed or downloaded.
11. Digital Product Licence
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital product gives you a limited licence to use the product for its intended purpose.
Purchasing a digital product does not automatically transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.
You may not:
- Resell the original file;
- Redistribute the product;
- Upload it to another marketplace;
- Share paid download links;
- Claim the product as your own creation;
- Repackage it for resale; or
- Distribute it commercially without permission.
Different products may have different licensing conditions. Where a product-specific licence is supplied, that licence takes precedence for that product.
12. Free Downloads
Certain resources may be provided free of charge.
Free resources are provided on an “as available” basis.
Coupintech may modify, replace or remove free resources at any time.
Free products do not create any obligation for Coupintech to provide technical support, updates or future versions unless expressly stated.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Coupintech retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, including:
- Code libraries;
- Frameworks;
- Development methods;
- Templates;
- Internal tools;
- Processes;
- Design systems;
- Concepts;
- Reusable components; and
- Other materials developed independently of the client’s project.
Where a client has paid for custom work, ownership or licensing of the final deliverables will be determined by the applicable quotation or agreement.
Third-party software, fonts, plugins, stock images and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licences.
14. Portfolio and Marketing Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Coupintech may display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, presentations and marketing materials.
If a client requires confidentiality or does not want their project publicly displayed, this should be communicated to Coupintech in writing before the project is completed.
15. Third-Party Services
Coupintech may use third-party services to provide certain functionality.
These may include:
- Hosting providers;
- Domain registrars;
- Payment processors;
- Advertising platforms;
- Email providers;
- Cloud services;
- Analytics services;
- APIs;
- Plugins;
- Software licences; and
- Other technology providers.
Coupintech is not responsible for interruptions, changes, pricing, outages or policies imposed by independent third-party providers.
16. Hosting and Maintenance
Where Coupintech provides hosting or maintenance services, the specific service level will depend on the package or agreement purchased.
Hosting and maintenance services may be suspended where invoices remain unpaid.
Unless expressly included, maintenance does not necessarily include major redesigns, new functionality, content creation or substantial development work.
17. Advertising and Marketing Results
Coupintech may provide digital marketing, SEO, advertising and social media services.
While we use professional strategies and reasonable efforts to improve performance, we cannot guarantee:
- A specific number of leads;
- A specific number of sales;
- A specific Google ranking;
- A specific advertising return;
- Viral content;
- A specific number of followers; or
- A specific financial result.
Marketing performance depends on numerous factors outside our control.
18. Cancellations
A client may request cancellation of a service by contacting Coupintech in writing.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
Where work has already commenced, Coupintech may charge for work completed, third-party costs incurred and other amounts that are legitimately payable under the applicable agreement and law.
Consumer cancellation rights that apply under South African law will not be excluded by these Terms.
19. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Different rules may apply to:
- Digital products;
- Physical products;
- Professional services;
- Deposits;
- Subscriptions; and
- Third-party costs.
Please review our Refund Policy before making a purchase.
20. Shipping
Where Coupintech sells physical products, shipping and delivery will be governed by our Shipping Policy.
Digital products do not require physical shipping.
21. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- Maintenance;
- Hosting issues;
- Technical failures;
- Security incidents;
- Third-party outages;
- Internet problems; or
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
22. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our website is accurate.
However, errors, omissions or outdated information may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information, including pricing, product descriptions and availability.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Coupintech will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website, products or services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any legal right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
24. Personal Information
We may collect and process personal information when you use our website, contact us, purchase products or request services.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable South African data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), where applicable.

Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and the appropriate dispute-resolution mechanisms available to the parties.
